Profiles Health and Beauty was taken over in 2002 by existing head therapist Ruth Owen and her family. The salon
now boast 3 relaxing treatment rooms, and 1 dedicated Manicure treatment room, with 8 members of fully qualified staff.
We are proud to be accredited with Clarins ‘GOLD’ salon status and Jessica ‘Fellowship’ Status. Our team of experienced therapists are available 6 days a week to attend and answer all of your beauty needs.

J & J Aesthetics Jacqui and Jo have been trained in dermal augmentation by Q-med (UK) Ltd and have been practicing at Profiles for over six years. They are both qualified nurses and insured by the Royal College of Nursing and are also members of the British Association of Plastic Surgery Nurses. They use 'Restylane', a synthetic form of Hyaluronic acid which occurs naturally in the body. When injected, Hyaluronic acid lifts and plumps the skin with the effects lasting up to nine months. There has been no evidence of allergic reaction to Restylane unlike the animal derived Collagen. The treatment consists of a series of tiny injections once the area has been numbed by local anaesthetic cream. Restylane can also be used to treat drooping of the mouth, creases from the nose to mouth and shallow scars. An initial conslutation costs £25 - refundable against the cost of the treatment should you go ahead. Treatments cost from £300 for 1 full syringe of Restylane or a full treatment of Botox.
